Come join our team at this amazing property, centrally located in the heart of downtown Vancouver with easy access to Portland International Airport. Featuing 226 room, the hotel is within walking distance to the gorgeous waterfront as well as to local bustling attraction such as the Vancouver Farmers Market (directly across the street from the hotel), making us an excellent base for both leisure and business travel.

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards

Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times

Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner

Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products

Stock and maintain designated food station(s)

Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen

Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations

Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed

Capable of directing a team of 3-4 individuals

Ensure quality standards are met

understand and comply with all department food safety practices

Ensure compliance with lower ranking team members

Capable of understanding and utilizing Hilton's on-line purchasing platform.

Hourly rate is $22.59 (based on applicable and specialized experience and location).
